Hello!
Nice to meet you.
My name is Chrissy, I'm a freelance graphic designer and I love my job!
That's what I did so far:
Design:
As a kid I always wanted to become a professional drawer for Walt Disney movies. In school I started making short films and stop motion animation. After that I studied digital film and animation with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Since then I worked as a camera operator, motion designer and graphic designer in the industry for big companies like Germany's biggest videogame magazines GameStar and GamePro as well as The Walt Disney Company Germany (Disney Channel).
Many projects, artworks and styles accompanied my way and now I'm a freelance graphic designer. Pretty close to my childhood dream job, don't you think?
That's why I am very passionate about my job. I'm working hard on my skills, always want to improve, learn new techniques and have an eye for great design as well as typography.
When I was 6 I got a GameBoy with 3 games. That started my enthusiasm for videogames. I never stopped playing and I'm up to date with games from different genres.
And I love movies! According to my rating list on IMDb.com I've watched 3000+ movies and series. My college study included film history, lighting, camera, editing, everything from pre to post production.
I design logos, backgrounds for newsletters/ websites, buttons, banners (twitter, YouTube,...), cover design, typography and all sorts of cool stuff. Ask and I can deliver the graphics you need.
Writing:
Besides playing videogames I write articles about them (columns, previews, reviews, offline articles, interviews) for SHOCK2 (http://shock2.info/), eMag KRYSCHEN (http://kryschen.de/) and my highlight is Chrissi's #MidweekMadness which you can find on my blog (https://streeture7.wordpress.com/).
I am writing my first book, a travel report about my trips to the US, which will be published in 2016.
If you have any questions or want to work with me on your next project, feel free to contact me (via streeturedesign@gmail.com).
Have a nice day and enjoy my work.
Chrissy
